HCR Recruitment is seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to join prison healthcare teams across multiple HMP sites in the West Midlands and East Midlands. Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with NMC standards.
- Conduct clinical assessments, triage, health screenings, and patient reviews.
- Administer medication and treatments safely while maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Manage acute, chronic, and complex health conditions within a secure setting.
- Provide emergency nursing care and respond appropriately to clinical incidents.
- Support patients with physical health, mental health, and substance misuse needs.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, confidentiality, infection prevention, and clinical governance.
- Current NMC Registration as an RGN or RMN.
- Minimum 6 months' experience working within a UK Prison Healthcare (HMP) setting β Mandatory.
- Valid Prison Clearance β Mandatory.
- PMVA Certification β Mandatory.
- Valid Enhanced DBS.
- Professional references covering the last 3 years of employment.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
