We are currently looking for a tech savvy, self starter to join our digital marketing team in Worcester, reporting to our Head of Marketing Operations. HCR’s marketing team provides strategic and operational marketing advice and collateral to more than 30 teams and groups. Your job is to know this content inside‑out and maximise its use and impact via our ‘shop window’ via excellent website content management, and robust reporting and data insights.
Specific Responsibilities
- Website
- Expertly knowing your way around our multiple CMSs, understanding the functionality, templates, plugins, integrations etc. and being able to use the platforms to best effect.
- Uploading content, building new pages/ sections/ hubs, and taking responsibility for using the content‑maximisation and flexibility features of the CMSs.
- Working with suppliers and others in Marketing to scope, test, and implement website development work.
- Support the delivery of optimised content – understanding our objectives, working through digital customer journeys, and adding keywords/ making copy or layout adjustments to improve landing page and content performance.
- Work cohesively with the wider website and digital team.
- Data Reporting And Process Improvement
- Work with the wider digital team on the delivery of website and digital/ email Analytics reporting.
- Gather and manipulate other types of marketing data, conducting comprehensive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of dashboards and data sets.
- Translate complex data findings into easily digestible formats and actionable insights for CMT leaders.
- Promote data consistency, accuracy, and completeness within the Marketing team to ensure accuracy of data reports and analysis.
- Work with the wider CMT to ensure processes are mapped and shared, to support the onboarding of new members and promote process improvement and efficiency.
- Client And Contact Data
- Work with the wider CMT to ensure our email and other contact management system and databases are clean, maintained, and utilised to best effect for our campaigns.
- Extract and manipulate data from other sources (Katchr/ SOS) to enable maximum opportunities for direct mailing in line with the firm’s policies and individual fee earning team approaches.
About You
- Worked in a similar role at this level, in a similar size / type of professional services organisation.
- Expertise in using Wordpress, Keyword tools, Google AdWords, Analytics, and Microsoft programmes.
- Higher level thinking skills – you will be analytical, inquisitive and a natural problem solver.
- Experience of low level coding, e.g. adding page anchors, redirecting content etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience of delivering KPIs in a fast‑paced, highly motivated team and business.
- An excellent eye for detail.
