About The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Solicitor to join our Dispute Resolution team in Cambridge.

Our Commercial Dispute Resolution team act for a range of national and international companies across a variety of sectors. In addition to day to day commercial dispute resolution, the team has a particular focus on public law related disputes such as public procurement, judicial review, and information rights issues.

You will be working closely with Stewart Morrison, a leading partner in the field, who you will be able to learn and grow from.

We are keen to speak with NQs – 2 PQE Solicitors who are looking for a career in commercial dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of commercial dispute resolution and public law litigation.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within commercial dispute resolution, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • NQ – 2 years or more PQE
  • Either an NQ with some experience in commercial dispute resolution during your training contract, or relevant commercial disputes experience as a Solicitor.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
  • To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
  • To have strong commercial acumen
  • To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
