HCR Law seeks diligent candidates to join our high‑performing Corporate team. One position will be stationed in our newly renovated Hereford office, working directly with the Corporate Partner and Head of Hereford. The other will be based in the Wye Valley (Ross‑on‑Wye) office, working alongside the Corporate Partner and Head of Wye Valley. These teams collaborate closely, advising clients ranging from private companies to private equity houses and management teams on a full range of corporate matters.
Responsibilities
- Undertake legal research, sourcing and presenting results accurately and timely.
- Draft legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates.
- Ensure all work complies with risk management policies and GDPR.
- Provide legal support to the team and act as a legal resource when required.
- Diary management for the team, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Undertake routine file management under supervision.
- Engage in networking events, careers fairs and promote the firm via social media.
About You
- Legal education (LPC/SQE or relevant corporate electives during LLB).
- Previous experience in a legal environment or corporate department.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive self‑starter willing to learn.
- Client‑service focused.
- Strong IT and typing skills.
- Clear written and oral communication.
