We are looking for a Trust and Tax Manager who will be working in our Trust and Tax team in Cheltenham, which sits within our large and nationally recognised private client team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day administration of trusts, liaising as necessary with other professional advisors, trustees and beneficiaries.
- Prepare annual trust accounts, tax returns and R185s together with inheritance tax returns as appropriate.
- Prepare estate accounts and deal with estate income tax reporting.
- Deal with TRS registration and CGT returns on residential property sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a solicitors' firm, accountants' firm, trust company or you have tax or trust experience gained elsewhere.
- Exposure to the administration of trusts and estates holding properties, family company shares and quoted investments would be beneficial.
