About the Role

We are looking for professional marketing candidates to fill an invaluable role as Marketing Business Partner. The purpose of this role is to meet the daily operational marketing needs of a group of teams within the firm. It is a proactive, hands‑on, multi‑channel role. You will use your knowledge of the teams you support to drive marketing outcomes. You’ll be a partner to your teams, working with them to deliver the activity on their plan and to maximise emerging opportunities by being their first point of contact. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Marketing Executive or Account Manager to grow into a position with more responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for a group of service, office or sector teams.
  • Understand the legal work your groups deliver, their clients and the markets they operate in, so you can help drive growth.
  • Drive and deliver action on the team’s marketing plan – including events, digital content, collateral, campaigns etc.
  • Respond to, appropriately triage and fully scope marketing needs, establishing value and risk level of emerging opportunities and allocating appropriate resources.
  • Access shared resources (e.g., website execution, graphics team, marketing kit) and use project‑management skills to meet deadlines, coordinating with other MBPs to ensure shared resources are available to all teams.
  • Work with and delegate to marketing leads as a resource base to help you deliver.
  • Provide marketing data/reports on outcomes and project costs.
  • Deliver end‑to‑end team‑led events – all aspects from invite to set‑up of events of various sizes and formats.
  • Support teams with content plans and SEO‑informed article editing to ensure quality.
  • Support teams with profile‑raising initiatives.
  • Produce collateral (e.g., podcasts, capability statements, leaflets, videos).

Skills and Experience

  • Worked in a professional services organisation of similar size and type.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and proof‑reading ability.
  • Experience of handling complex or technically drafted copy and editing it for multiple audiences.
  • Proficient with project‑management software and Microsoft programmes.
  • Higher‑level thinking and natural problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience delivering to KPIs in a fast‑paced, highly motivated team and business.
  • Track record of delivering campaigns and projects across multiple marketing channels (events, webinars, digital, print, business development materials).
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • High performance drive and consistency.
  • Passion for marketing – a marketing‑focused degree and/or CIM level qualification.
  • A project‑management qualification would be advantageous.

Benefits

  • Scottish Widows Pension Scheme
  • 28 days annual leave (plus public holidays)

  • Happy People / Perks at Work benefits portal
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Life Assurance
