Due to a maternity leave, we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Business Partner with a specialist focus on the legal sector to join our team and play a pivotal role in attracting, engaging, and securing high-quality talent to cover for a 12 month period.

The Role:

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage complex legal recruitment processes from market mapping, talent pipelining, and headhunting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leaders, Equity Partners, and Heads of Teams to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, including interview processes and offer negotiations.
  • Market Mapping & Headhunting: Utilise your experience and creativity to headhunt legal professionals from passive markets, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality candidates.
  • Offer Negotiation: Work closely with hiring managers and candidates to create attractive, realistic offers while navigating counteroffers and negotiating terms.
  • Team Collaboration: As a senior team member, lead briefings, run agency days, and contribute to team development.
  • Employer Value Proposition (EVP): Play a key role in driving the development of our EVP messaging and social media campaigns to promote the firm’s culture and attract top legal talent.
  • Social Media & Content: Actively contribute to our recruitment marketing strategy, including content creation and engagement on platforms like LinkedIn, and be confident appearing in front of the camera.
  • Campaign Management: Deliver headhunting campaigns in challenging markets and industries, with a focus on resilience and creative problem-solving to find and secure the best talent.

About You

You’ll bring a combination of recruitment expertise, legal sector knowledge, and a passion for candidate experience. Whether you have come from an in-house recruitment position or have agency experience, you will thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Your confidence in negotiating offers, managing stakeholders, and delivering successful campaigns will set you apart.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has specialist experience in recruiting legal professionals and is highly proficient in market mapping and headhunting.
  • Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with senior partners and team heads to ensure success.
  • Has a strong negotiation background, with a proven ability to manage counteroffers and create offers that are attractive and realistic for candidates.
  • Is resilient in the face of difficult searches and able to deliver results in challenging markets.
  • Works collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Can lead recruitment initiatives, such as briefings, agency days, and contribute to the development of our EVP and social media campaigns.
  • Is confident on camera and can represent the firm in digital media to strengthen employer branding.
  • Is passionate about candidate experience, always striving to make every candidate interaction positive and seamless.
