THE OPPORTUNITY
A London-based institutional private equity firm is appointing a Director of Investments / Partner to lead its deal origination and execution capability. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will set the investment agenda, chair deal reviews and take full ownership of transactions from thesis to completion. This is a leadership role, not a next-step promotion.
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
- Current or recent Partners, Directors or Heads of Investment at PE funds, growth equity firms or institutional investment platforms
- Senior M&A professionals at investment banks, advisory firms or corporate finance houses with 10–12+ years’ experience leading transactions
- Heads of Corporate Development, Chief Strategy Officers or C-suite executives at portfolio companies, healthcare groups or financial services businesses
- Sector Heads at mid-market or large-cap PE firms looking for a more entrepreneurial platform with meaningful economics
Minimum 10 years in investments or M&A, with deep experience leading complex transactions through to completion. Proven, attributable track record of sourcing, structuring and closing deals.
SECTOR FOCUS
Core sectors: technology, financial services, insurance and professional services. Candidates with additional depth in healthcare or business services are of particular interest — both are growing strategic priorities for the firm.
