About the Company
Portfolio Homecare is a large homecare provider based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. We provide high-quality care to individuals in their own homes who require support with personal care, medication management, companionship and light domestic duties. We are expanding our service so are seeking staff to work either full-time, part-time or on an ad hoc basis.

What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work: 40 Hours Per Week β Shifts: 07:00 β 15:00 / 15:00 β 22:00 β Flexible Provide + Every Other Weekend
Responsibilities
- Assist and enable the people we support with personal hygiene needs such as grooming, the management of continence and getting in and out of bed
- Contribute to the movement and handling of people we support to maximise their physical abilities and mobility
- Enable people who use our services to achieve physical comfort
- Assist in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snack
- Enable the people we support to maintain a good level of nutrition and hydration.
- Prompting/assisting with medication
Requirements
- Essential: Car driver and use of own vehicle.
- Desirable: 1 year\βs experience as a carer.
