What does this Care Assistant job involve?Hours of Work: 30 Hours Per Week – Shifts: 07:00-14:00 / 14:00-21:00
Provide quality care by attending to resident\’s physical and personal needs, including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and feeding.
Promote residents\’ dignity, privacy, and independence, and respect their rights at all times.
Assist with basic housekeeping tasks such as making beds, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness.
Help with the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to hygiene regulations.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and development activities.
Assist with the distribution of medication and contribute to the preparation and review of care plans.
Who we are looking for:
It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
