We are seeking a full-time Anesthesia Assistant to join a well-established Department of Anesthesiology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration and management of anesthesia care under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist
  • Perform pre-anesthesia patient assessments as directed
  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Assist with induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor patients intraoperatively and report clinical changes promptly
  • Support post-anesthesia care as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate closely with Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and nursing staff

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Assistant program
  • Eligible for or holding appropriate state licensure (as required)
  • National certification as an Anesthesia Assistant (if applicable)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function effectively within a team-based anesthesia care model
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
