We are seeking an experienced automotive professional to take on a key role within a busy franchised workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager, or Senior/Master Technician looking to step into or progress within a leadership position.
This role is central to the success of the Aftersales department, ensuring the workshop operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and customer care.
The role:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Plan and control workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Allocate work effectively across the technician team
- Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Support and develop technicians through guidance and technical input
- Work closely with the Service team to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Drive workshop performance, productivity, and profitability
About you:
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager, or Senior/Master Technician
- Background within a franchised dealership environment
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations
- Confident leader with the ability to organise and motivate others
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
