The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and departmental profitability, while supporting the Service Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Manager in leading, motivating, and developing a team of aftersales professionals
  • Help drive a high‑performance culture where achievement is recognised and underperformance is effectively managed
  • Oversee daily service department operations, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently and productivity targets are achieved
  • Assist with accurate reporting and departmental performance analysis
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders

About You

  • Previous experience within the automotive industry is essential
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with experience producing management reports
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a fast‑moving, changing environment
  • A positive and approachable leadership style
  • Experience coaching, motivating, and supporting teams to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Results‑driven with a commitment to operational excellence

Eligibility Criteria

  • Experience in automotive aftersales or service environment essential
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
