We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and highly regarded dealer group in Croydon, Surrey, for an experienced Service level, Motor Vehicle Technician to join their successful aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician seeking a genuine work-life balance and professional working environment, along with long-term career stability within a respected dealership operation.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards, delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction at all times. An MOT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Role
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Repairing and replacing major components including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
  • Completing all work efficiently, accurately, and within manufacturer timeframes
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate job records
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures and workshop standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or reputable independent garage
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
  • MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
