Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily setup, operation and basic maintenance of the client robots and associated hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance checks of the existing hardware to ensure it complies with the operational capabilities of both the related Client directed experiments and the environment the hardware is operating in. This is expected to occur both in a local environment where the Employee is adjacent to the robot and in a remote environment where the operator is located at a different physical location than where the robot is situated.
- Execute various manipulation tasks in a virtual reality environment with an aim in collecting clean datasets. All data will be clean and usable, fully representing manipulation tasks performed.
- Ensure robotic hardware and software configuration control.
- Troubleshoot and report any test results or issues relating to robotic hardware and software.
- Create and refine documentation and procedures.
