Job Description – Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA) who bridges the gap between business and technology.
  • The role involves translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting data-driven and digital transformation initiatives.

Business & Domain Knowledge

  • Understand and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
  • Develop domain knowledge across industries such as Banking, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, IT.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis and ROI evaluation.
  • Apply strategic thinking and problem framing.

Requirements Management

  • Conduct requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, surveys.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements.
  • Prepare BRD, FRD, User Stories, RTM.
  • Perform change and impact analysis.

Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and map stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions.
  • Resolve conflicts and manage negotiations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Communicate with executive leadership.

Data & Analytical Skills

  • Perform data analysis and interpretation.
  • Use SQL for querying and validation.
  • Define KPIs and perform trend analysis.
  • Create process maps and diagrams.
  • Use BPMN/UML tools.
  • Conduct gap analysis.
  • Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Agile & SDLC

  • Work in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall models.
  • Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Write and refine user stories.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

Technical Skills

  • Use prototyping tools like Figma, Lucidchart.
  • Understand APIs, databases, and architecture basics.

Testing & Validation

  • Support UAT planning and execution.
  • Review test cases and scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
