Job Description:
As a QA Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a new application being developed in Front Office – Rates trading . You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies, developing automated testing systems/frameworks, and ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in BDD testing, Playwright tool, and DevOps will be essential in driving our testing processes and improving our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand project requirements to identify potential risks and challenges.
- Develop and implement effective testing strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with development team to ensure that quality is considered throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and implement automated testing tools and systems/framework using Playwright.
- Identify, record, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to QA testers and other team members.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and defects to drive process improvements.
- Design and implement stress and performance tests.
- Ensure all testing activities follow industry standards and meet specific business requirements.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to senior stakeholders and business users.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in software development and testing.
- Experience in designing and implementing test strategies.
- Proficiency in BDD testing frameworks.
- Expertise in using Playwright and Selenium for automated testing.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify potential system weaknesses and propose improvements.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
