Role: Presales Consultant/ Solution Architect
Duration: Long term
Looking for a Presales Consultant that must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product capabilities , positioning to both business and technical users . Primarily engaged in a technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities.
- Obtain and maintain strong knowledge of our offerings across application and engineering services, be able to deliver technical pitch and demo, including overview of our key and advanced features and benefits, services offerings, differentiation, and competitive positioning
- Be able to address the technical questions concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature / functionality of the digital solution
- Capable of building and/or leading the development of custom demos and PoCs based and beyond customer requirements
- Provide timely, prioritized, and complete customer-based feedback to product management, sales, support and/or development regarding customer requirements and issues.
- Enthusiastically present solutions to prospective customers, from IT managers and technicians to C-level executives
- Manage client expectations, establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues
- Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
- Work along with marketing, sales, and domain SMEs, on market or customer feedback, lead the definition, development and presentation of product and solution demos and PoC’s for prospects and partners
- Provide technical support to entire sales team as appropriate (e.g. handle technical questions and escalate them when required, conduct training and/or briefings)
- Document and track all activity, including lead/prospect data entry, detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up, architectures, challenges, etc.
- Answer customer proposals and questionnaires in support of the pre-sales cycle.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as Pre-Sales Engineer/Technical Consultant in a technical environment.
- In this capacity, you will have business acumen, passion, and technical savviness to understand customer’s business drivers and recommend solutions through HCLTech’s offerings
