Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer DBA Administrator to manage and support our Oracle database infrastructure hosted on Exadata Cloud@Customer. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Oracle Database technologies, performance tuning, patching, backups, and Cloud@Customer operations. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer environments.
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
- Optimize database performance and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Implement and manage backup/recovery strategies (e.g., RMAN, Data Guard).
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving database, Exadata infrastructure, and cloud integration.
- Collaborate with Oracle support for service requests and escalations.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or Oracle tools (e.g., OEM, DBMS_SCHEDULER).
- Maintain security policies and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide support for migration projects and capacity planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard.
- Deep understanding of Exadata architecture and administration (cells, compute nodes, InfiniBand, etc.).
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related tools.
