Role OverviewThe NetDevOps Consultant will drive network integration, automation, and orchestration across cloud, edge, and enterprise environments aligned to a Modern Ops and AI-first operating model. The role focuses on Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC), CI/CD pipelines, AI-driven operations (AIOps), observability integration, and SRE-led reliability engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC) using Python, Ansible, and Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, APIs, and orchestration platforms (e.g., Itential) for network services.
- Automate connectivity services (VLAN, DNS, Firewall, DDI) integrated with ServiceNow and ITSM workflows.
- Drive AI/ML use cases such as WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self-healing networks.
- Integrate and manage observability platforms (SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, Grafana, ZDX) for proactive monitoring and insights.
- Provide engineering and support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent integrations.
- Ensure AI-driven compliance, security monitoring, cost optimization, and continuous network stability improvements.
- Collaborate with Cloud, IAM, SRE, and platform teams to deliver unified control plane operations across Azure, GCP, and Edge.
- Participate in design reviews focusing on resilience, failure domains, scalability, and automation readiness.
- Create reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules for provisioning, upgrades, compliance, and backup workflows.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to best practices in NetDevOps, automation, and reliability engineering.
- Support global 24x7 operations aligned to SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets) and drive reduction in incidents via AIOps.
