At HCL Tech’s Microsoft Business Applications Practice (MBAP), we are currently hiring for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Solution Architect, ideally with Housing/Property sector experience, to join our award-winning team. The D365 F&SCM Solution Architect will be comfortable in all aspects of delivery. They must be capable of switching between supporting or leading customer-facing functional workshops and a group of functional consultants and business analysts, supporting technical roles including interface, data and development teams, either customer-based or HCL’s MBAP centric onshore and off-shore teams, working with project and program managers to effectively report on progress and risks and issues, and liaising with both internal and customer senior stakeholders, adjusting the approach and language as required for each interaction.
You should be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritise multiple demands in a fast-paced environment, along with housing or property industry experience, having worked for a Housing Association or similar in the past.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:- Take ownership of all aspects of Financial Management module.
- Assist with kick-offs, requirement gathering and knowledge transfer sessions; evaluate the client business processes and provide Business requirement document.
- Analyse client requirements and objectives, suggest Business Re-Engineering processes, eliminate non-value addition processes and derive how best the software can address clients’ business process.
- Perform Fit-gap analysis, convert requirements to functional specs and functional design documents.
- Configure and showcase Financial Management processes/systems as to how the solution meets client business requirements like Chart of Accounts, Consolidation of Accounts, Financial Reporting per Business unit/department, Exchange Rates, Intercompany Accounting, Ledger Accruals and Allocations, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management.
- Should have experience in handling SIT, End user training, UAT and Go Live.
- Should have experience in data migration activities and approach for it.
- Mentor other consultants in delivering according to client expectations; take ownership and deliver successful completion of projects including documents, user manuals.
- Participate in the development of functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, perform SIT testing.
- Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions.
- Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during the implementation process.
- Test and deploy Microsoft Dynamics system; including executing the pilot/implementation/deployment of new requirements or enhancements to the Workday application and integration support.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to customers.
- Work with customer to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
- Solid Microsoft Dynamics AX2012/Dynamics 365 F&O Implementation experience.
- Experience in Order to Cash and Sales ordering within a Manufacturing or Retail background.
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, Forecasting, and Quotes.
- Experience across 5+ end to end implementation projects and awareness of typical implementation methodologies for Dynamics projects.
- Expert knowledge of finance and distribution and trade as well as good understanding of PMA, Talent and proven industry experience in a number of industry sectors.
- Proven understanding of and primary responsibility for solutions in Financial and Project Management Accounting and also multi-country and multi-currency AX implementations in Dynamics 365 F&O or other AX versions.
- Must have expertise knowledge & experience on Fixed Assets, AP/AR, General Ledger, Supply chain, Taxation, Project accounting and Audit.
- Excellent communication skills along with good analysis and documentation skills.
- A positive can-do approach.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
- Ability to work remotely and on customer site; some travel expected.
- Appropriate Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
- Experience using DevOps for tracking deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Have led a team to deliver a project module solution and deliverable.
- MBA/M.Com/CA or any other equivalent graduation in a reputed university.
- Certifications in AX Finance modules desirable.
