As an Operating leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of experienced Project & Program Managers in a B2B service environment. As a visionary Global Leader for Project Management, you will spearhead the operational delivery of our Managed Network Services. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with deep expertise in project and program management, particularly within the IT, Network and telecommunications sector.
This role requires a leader who can define, implement, and govern project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across our global organization. You will be responsible for building a world-class CoE that drives efficiency, consistency, and excellence in project execution. You will lead a global team and be the key driver in our mission to deliver superior network solutions and services to our clients worldwide.
- Operations & People Management
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Project Management CoE, aligning it with the overall business objectives of our Managed Network Services division.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of project managers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex, global network projects. Drive initiatives to optimize project performance, reduce risks, and improve client satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics: Deliver and evolve key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the CoE and project delivery.
- Knowledge Management: Create and maintain a centralized repository of project documentation, lessons learned, and best practices to facilitate organizational learning and consistency.
- Resource Management: Integrate resources, staffing and development requirements, ensuring adherence to volume demand and capacity management. Integrate future operating model changes based on projected technology/service improvements.
- Transformation & Transition
- Define and execute the AI strategy for customer experience and operations, identifying key use cases for AI-powered solutions in Project Management space.
- Develop frameworks for measuring the impact of AI on customer experience metrics and ROI.
- Cadence and Governance: Establish a robust governance with clients to ensure world class client experience.
- Tooling & Technology: Evaluate, select, and manage project management tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and provide real-time visibility into project status.
- Responsible and accountable for a successful Service Transition Execution as per contractual agreement.
- Identify potential risks and document and deploy mitigation plans in agreement with stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for senior leadership, clients, and internal teams, providing transparent reporting and strategic guidance on project portfolio health.
- Lead Client engagement & governance meetings such as WBR, MBR & QBRs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact for the assigned function.
- Proactively manage and resolve potential issues, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall client experience.
- Negotiate on issues and subjects with clients, ensuring that both parties align on expectations and deliverables.
- Responsible and Accountable for delivering Budgeted Costs Savings for the line of business.
- Build & lead Financial Improvement Plans of key levers linked to Revenue & Margins.
- Drive cost estimation models in identifying opportunities and benefits to HCLTech and our Customers.
- Create & manage SLA performance/penalties and drive the culture of consistent Zero-risk Service Credit delivery.
Education & Experience Level: Bachelors degree with 15-20+ years of experience with a minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in project management. PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is highly preferred.
