Working with clients in various industries, you will contribute as an OCM lead to a wide array of program/projects in support of digital transformational initiatives and other change programs.
Mission of this role β Oversee and execute the organizational change management activities related to our customer organizational change management engagements as part of the global OCM team. Lead HCLTech internal OCM team members assigned to your customer if required and act as the primary contact point for customer OCM team and leadership.
Expected qualification and critical experiences
- Facilitate meetings, champion solutions, and build consensus as the OCM solutions move through various forums to gain approval and acceptance.
- Execute across all organizational change management phases of a program/project lifecycle, from discovery to sustainability.
- Create and/or lead stakeholder change impact assessments.
- Create compelling "case for change" and engaging transformation narrative.
- Design and coordinate groups of change champions in a change network.
- Develop and/or lead the development of comprehensive change plans and outline detailed change activities to maximize user adoption and minimize business disruption.
- Establish and sustain close working relationships with the program and project teams for close alignment of plans and collaboration on OCM content.
- Create change management and communication content to be used in execution of change plans.
- Establish and communicate program/project status to stakeholders and sponsor(s) via formal status reports.
- Manage OCM risks, issues and escalations within the customer account.
- Monitor program/projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience driving organizational change, strategic communications and managing teams.
- 8+ years of experience involving OCM, Management Consulting and corporate experience.
- Expertise in program/project management discipline, tools/techniques and Program/project Delivery Process.
- Prosci or ACMP certification in organizational change management is mandatory.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels (horizontal and vertical).
- Able to function as a "utility player" in executing overall program/project, including requirements gathering, process mapping, governance, procedures, and common templates.
- Able to communicate and collaborate with internal customers and technical project teams to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver program/project artifacts as needed.
- High level of personal and professional integrity β able to build solid level of rapport and trust with all levels of client team.
- High consultative skillset, able to design/adjust solutions with clients, teams and partners.
- Highly independent and flexible in work tasks, willing to step in/step up as needed to ensure program/project delivers successfully.
- Ability to work in highly collaborative environment with HCLTech teams, client team and various vendor teams.
- Self-starter/self-managed β able to maintain high level of productivity without supervision or daily direction.
- Organized with excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, PowerBI) as well as photo and video editing tools.
