Integration Architect - Hybrid Integration - Public Sector Digital Transformation
As an Integration Architect - Hybrid Integration, you will lead the design and assurance of integration solutions that enable seamless connectivity between modern and legacy systems. You will be responsible for defining architectural standards, guiding technical teams, and ensuring successful application migration and transformation.
Working closely with client teams and programme stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient integration architectures that support business objectives and digital transformation goals.
About the Role
- Lead the integration architecture strategy for application modernization and migration initiatives
- Design and assure hybrid integration solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
- Define and maintain key architecture artefacts, integration patterns, and standards
- Collaborate with client teams, technical specialists, and programme stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions
- Drive architecture governance, ensuring quality, security, and compliance
- Support application refactoring activities and migration planning
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for architectural improvement
- Provide technical leadership and integration best practices across the programme
- Strong experience as an Integration Architect within large-scale enterprise environments
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing hybrid integration solutions
- Experience defining architecture artefacts, integration standards, and solution designs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Experience supporting complex application transformation and modernization programmes
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS migration programmes
- Experience working within multi-supplier delivery environments
- Knowledge of cloud-native integration patterns and modern API-led architectures
- Experience supporting large public sector or enterprise transformation initiatives
