We are seeking a seasoned Java/PHP Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java and PHP ecosystems, strong architectural skills, and proven experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. This role involves technical leadership, strategic decision-making, and mentoring teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design & Strategy: Define and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture for Java and PHP-based applications. Align architecture with business goals and technology roadmap. Select appropriate frameworks, tools, and design patterns (e.g., Spring Boot, Symfony, Laravel).
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor development teams (6–10 members). Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Development & Integration: Oversee microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration with third-party systems. Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and security compliance. Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption. Drive process improvements, automation, and CI/CD implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years in software development, with 10+ years in architecture roles. Strong expertise in Java (Spring, Hibernate) and PHP (Symfony, Laravel). Hands-on experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Technical Skills: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Data Structures. Database technologies: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server. CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to DevOps practices, security best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Certifications: TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Architect.
