Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the DBA team to optimize database queries and improve ETL job performance.
- Perform performance tuning of ETL processes to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, data integration, and system performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by performing data profiling and validation.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift and Postgres).
- Design and implement complex data transformation logic using Informatica PowerCenter transformations.
- Develop, test, and implement ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various source systems into the target data warehouse.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter (ETL tool) including designing and developing mappings, workflows, and sessions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing.
- Practical experience on performance tuning techniques for ETL jobs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration tools (e.g., AWS).
- Familiarity with other ETL tools or scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python).
