Contract Duration: 6 Months
Role Purpose: A Windows Access Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a pivotal role in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to Windows-based systems across the enterprise. Your expertise is essential for maintaining operational integrity, preventing unauthorised access, and enabling smooth service delivery across the organisation.
What you’ll Do:
- Manage user/non-user accounts and access across Windows environments.
- Administer privileged access controls and ensure secure permissions.
- Follow SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance rules for Windows systems and regularly review and improve these processes.
- Lead onboarding, access recertification, audit remediation, and automation efforts.
- Provide consultancy on large/complex initiatives ensuring full service introduction governance.
- Help shape how Windows access is managed as identity and access management continues to change.
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments related to access provisioning.
- Ensure alignment with least privilege principles and group security standards.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across our provisioning platforms.
What you’ll need:
- Consistent record of working in an IAM role with strong operational and ITIL experience.
- Solid understanding of the identity management lifecycle, access governance and privileged access management.
- Strong understanding of modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
- Hands-on experience of tools like Active Directory, PowerShell, Entra, OIM and/or SailPoint, CyberArk, Quest Active Roles Server (QARS), Exchange Online.
- Works well under pressure and has strong organising and delivery skills.
- Experience collaborating in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, using platforms like JIRA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management with ability to handle tasks effectively.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge and/or experience of Python programming language.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Power Automate.
- Knowledge and/or experience of GitHub for collaborative software development.
