Position Name- Compliance Manager (EU Technology and Financial Services) About the job: Location: London, England Model: Remote Experience: 6-10 years Role Type: Permanent Compliance Manager with 6 to 10 years background in Financial Services in the EU. Summary: The Regulatory Risk and Compliance (R&C) Manager role will support the EMEA Financial Services (BFSI) Group Head, in the overall implementation of the RI program. This role will specifically manage regulatory compliance and implementation projects for key EU Technology and Financial Services regulations that impact Information Technology (IT) service providers (including DORA and the EU AI Act). Experience: The candidate should demonstrate experience in managing existing and emerging relevant EU laws, industry standards and rules that impact the Financial Services industry and IT service providers. They should have regulatory knowledge of themes, such as Operational Resilience, Outsourcing, and Third-Party risk in the context of an IT service provider. Roles & Responsibilities: Execute Risk Intelligence framework for respective EU Technology and Financial Services sectors, with a focus on compliance of new directly applicable requirements to HCLTech, as an IT Third Party Service Provider. Impact Assessment: Proactively assess the applicability and impact of regulatory change to the lines of business, by delivering Impact Assessments on critical emerging regulations on the horizon. Risk Assessments: Manage periodic submissions into the unified risk assessment process by drafting control requirements, control test steps and evidence requests. Assess the internal control environment to identify and address any gaps between existing control environment and new regulatory uplifts. Advisory: Deliver tailored guidance on the approach and application of complex regulatory queries to stakeholders and business. Go above and beyond to support the business in understanding their regulatory obligations and regulatory contractual obligations. Support Sales, Delivery and client requests, due diligence queries, RFPs and regulatory queries for business development. Controls: Translate complex regulatory obligations into technology control requirements applicable to the lines of business. Repository: Maintain an up-to-date controls repository and draft new technical controls to be inserted into assessment process. Communication and Awareness: Create training material and deliver training, workshops & awareness sessions on emerging EU technology and financial services regulations to stakeholders, Sales, Delivery teams and R&C groups. Feed content into periodic comms and awareness initiatives. Program: Deliver program enhancements, drive efficiencies, and identify areas of improvement and potential new areas to enhance the overall program. Regulatory Intelligence: Keep abreast of regulatory developments on the horizon. Aattend seminars, webinars and training on evolving industry regulatory topics/themes. Reporting: Deliver periodic updates into regulatory radar list, client mapping, and departmental reporting. Projects: Act as SPOC to special regulatory compliance projects, to manage the project design and implementation of high impact regulations for HCLTech and its Sales and Delivery teams, with a focus on EU BFSI and technology. Drive compliance activities towards implementation; including business outreach, understanding existing control environment and how HCLTech meets emerging requirements, performing a gap analysis and advise business or R&Cs groups on how to plug in gaps, as well as thread updates into the assessment program. Deliver reporting and updates to management on progress of implementation on a periodic basis and ensure updates included in MI/committee reporting. Understand application of regulatory scope to HCLTech’ s business and service lines and integrate a transversal compliance approach, which factors in organisational complexities. Provide project-based advisory support to other R&C teams, Delivery, Legal and Sales/Pre-sales on upcoming regulatory matters. Support the team in any ad-hoc projects or tasks. Education Degree in either Business, Law, Risk, Technology or other related field required Certifications from ICA or IRM or in CRISC, ISO 31000, ISO 27001 can be an added benefit Experience 6-10 years of relevant experience in Compliance or Technology Compliance in the EU region. Strong expertise in applying laws in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. Knowledge of Information security, Cybersecurity, and other IT Laws, Industry standards and controls. Strong knowledge and experience in Risk and Compliance, specifically methodologies, frameworks and control drafting Understanding of requirements for DORA, NIST2 and EU AI Act, among others. Understanding of regulatory themes such Operational Resilience, Outsourcing, BCM and third party in the context of an IT service provider , supporting critical functions and services for clients.Experience in technical control drafting and assessments. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) Other Skills To be collaborative, friendly, approachable, and work in a team environment.
