We are looking for an experienced Product Owner, who would be working with development squads, building solutions that help businesses realise their objectives. Working closely with product managers, business streams and other product owners, you’ll contribute to the overall business vision, translating the vision into a clear API roadmap of prioritized items.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the epic/user story creation, providing clear description and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain RAID logs and ensure a well-groomed product/sprint backlog is available for the engineering team.
- Drive data mapping and API specification preparation ensuring the design contracts align to business and technical standards.
- Enable effective feedback loop between the engineering team and other stakeholders.
- Ensure stories meet definition of ready and definition of done, accepting stories as complete.
- Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement within the technical product team.
- Ensure the delivered products adheres to technical, security and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Business or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal & written), with good experience in setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience of working with leadership teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure project priorities and roadmaps are consistently aligned with customer value and business strategy.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies such as planning and reviews, offering insights that improve team alignment and output.
- Support teams by sharing domain knowledge, best practices, and tools to enhance delivery and decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops on requirements gathering, solution design, and process optimization for banking transformation.
- Knowledge of API or experience of working on API.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior working experience in any of the mentioned Banking domains areas – Consumer lending, Risk Management, Commercial lending, Payments.
- Good understanding on open banking concepts.
- Product owner certifications.
