Qualifications:
- Minimum 9 to 12 years of Network Data experience.
- Ability to implement and administer network devices.
- Perform network maintenance and device upgrades including patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor performance and ensure device availability and reliability.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- On-support during weekdays and weekends.
- Experience in the use of network monitoring tools.
- Providing network engineering support and training to other team members.
- Hands-on experience in Data Centre switching, routing, and overlay technologies.
- Experience in security-related fields (firewalls, VPN, network access control) such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, CISCO FTD, FMC.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for any network and security-related issues.
- Experience in monitoring tools like SolarWinds and ThousandEyes.
