Product Sales Specialist – Unica

HCL Software is seeking a Product Sales Specialist (PSS) to drive sales and expand market presence for the HCL BizSolution Cloud in UK. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for engaging with clients and partners, identifying business opportunities, and leading sales efforts to drive revenue growth.

The majority of our business is supported through partners who both resell and implement our solutions. Therefore working with the channel and supporting them to build and close more business will be fundamental in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand our client base.
  • Understand client needs and demonstrate how our Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platform and Commerce suites can deliver business value.
  • You will be comfortable demonstrating our solutions at an L1 level.

Pipeline Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets.
  • Work closely with marketing and pre‑sales teams to create targeted campaigns and generate leads.
  • Qualify prospects, manage the sales cycle, and convert opportunities into closed deals.
  • You will be comfortable presenting on stage and acting as a evangelist at key marketing and commerce events.

Sales Target Achievement & Solution Selling

  • Present and position our BizSolutions effectively to clients and prospects.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and consultative discussions to showcase value.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage pricing discussions, and successfully close sales deals.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to enhance product development and sales strategy.

Partner Recruitment and Enablement

  • Drive growth through the partner ecosystem by identifying key partners and investing time with them to ensure they are able to build and close business for the region.

You will work closely with both the Channels team and the Territory Managers to drive business for the region.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software sales, preferably in Marketing Automation, CDP, Commerce or Martech solutions.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with experience in enterprise/B2B software sales.
  • Good level of technical understanding and a passion and interest in AI.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with HCL Unica, Commerce or similar marketing automation & commerce platforms is a plus.
