Recruitment & Head Office Training Manager to lead talent acquisition and workforce development across our network of
475 school locations .
Reporting to the
Head of People & Culture , you'll oversee end‑to‑end recruitment across East and West regions, manage two Recruitment Coordinators, and coordinate learning and development activities for Head Office teams.
This is a unique opportunity to combine high-volume recruitment with strategic training and development in a fast‑paced, purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple sites and role types.
- Manage, coach and develop two Recruitment Coordinators.
- Drive recruitment performance by reducing vacancy ageing and improving time‑to‑hire.
- Develop innovative attraction strategies and employer branding initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with school leaders, regional managers, agencies, DWP, colleges and training providers.
- Coordinate Head Office training programmes, training needs analysis and learning activities.
- Monitor recruitment and training KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure safer recruitment compliance and deliver an excellent candidate experience.
About you
- Proven experience in high-volume or multi‑site recruitment.
- Experience managing or mentoring team members.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Data‑driven with the ability to analyse recruitment and workforce trends.
- Knowledge of safer recruitment and employment compliance requirements.
- Experience in learning and development or training coordination is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
