Adult Social Worker, Safeguarding Triage Team
South London
This role requires a Social Worker with at least 2 years post qualification experience who has worked in a safeguarding role completing S42 safeguarding work.
They will be responsible for triaging incoming safeguarding referrals, ascertain whether it meets the threshold for enquiry and determine the next course of action to address the risk.
Social Workers will need to formulate protection plans that prioritise the needs and voice of service users, integrating input from various professionals, families/carers and external agencies, to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.
They will need to be confident in responding to complex scenarios and crisis situations such as self neglect and domestic abuse.
