Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled API & Cloud Automation Engineer with strong expertise in APIs, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and managing scalable applications and platforms that support enterprise digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience building resilient distributed systems, automating cloud infrastructure, and enabling seamless integration between applications and services. You will work closely with product teams, architects, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance solutions across cloud environments. The position requires hands‑on technical expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices‑based applications that support business‑critical functions. Build and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational resilience. Develop automation solutions for cloud provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code principles. Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to define integration standards and technical roadmaps. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and reduce deployment risks. Monitor application and platform performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system reliability. Establish security controls, access management policies, and compliance requirements across cloud platforms. Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and automation workflows to improve engineering productivity. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture governance activities. Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, DevOps culture, observability standards, and cloud‑native principles while supporting cross‑functional teams in delivering robust and innovative solutions.
Skill Requirements
Skill Requirement Strong experience developing APIs and microservices using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js. Deep understanding of REST, JSON, OpenAPI specifications, service discovery, authentication, and API gateway technologies. Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and workload management in enterprise environments. Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and related services. Strong knowledge of automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code solutions. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar platforms. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace. Knowledge of security best practices, identity management, networking, and cloud governance. Understanding of distributed systems, event‑driven architecture, resiliency patterns, and performance optimization techniques. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
