Job Summary
Design and develop large-scale 3D assets with realistic physical properties for use in the Mu Jo Co physics simulator.
Analyze, inspect, and improve simulated assets, understand failure modes and design tradeoffs.
Create automated scalable pipelines to process assets for physical simulation, including convex decomposition using meshes or primitives, and provide technical support to researchers.
Additionally, create assets from scratch on demand using 3D modeling software.
Key Responsibilities
- Make available large numbers of 3D assets with realistic physical properties for use in Mu Jo Co.
- Analyze, inspect, and improve simulated assets, understanding failure modes and design tradeoffs.
