Job Summary
The Test Specialist at HCL will be responsible for End-to-end functional testing using tools like Selenium in software testing projects.
The primary objective will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Validate merchant onboarding journeys, Lloyds Accept application flows, payment processing, settlements, and terminal management capabilities.
Execute testing across web, mobile (i OS & Android), API, and backend systems.
Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
Perform API testing and integration testing across internal and third-party platforms.
Support SIT, UAT, FOV (First Occurrence Validation), production releases, and post-release verification activities.
Validate business-critical payment processing and settlement workflows.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and operational testing to ensure end-to-end integrity.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects through to closure using Jira or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with developers and engineers to improve quality and test coverage throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing practices.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-release reviews.
Ensure adherence to Lloyds Banking Group security, governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
