Role Overview We are seeking a Sales AI Principal to drive AI‑led business growth by combining deep technical expertise with strong sales and client engagement capabilities. This role will act as a strategic bridge between AI solutions and business outcomes, enabling clients to adopt Advanced AI/GenAI at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI/GenAI solution sales across industries such as Banking, Manufacturing, Retail, and others.
- Partner with sales teams to shape AI‑led deals, RFP responses, and proposals.
- Drive client conversations at the CXO level to position AI transformation strategies.
- Build and present value‑driven AI use cases, demos, and PoCs.
- Collaborate with delivery, data science, and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Develop industry‑specific AI offerings and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Own revenue targets, pipeline growth, and deal closures for AI solutions.
- Track market trends and align HCLTech capabilities with emerging AI opportunities such as GenAI, Agentic AI, and Automation.
Skill Requirements
Core Skills Required
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, fine‑tuning, prompt engineering).
- Experience with tools such as Azure OpenAI, Databricks, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Azure Fabric.
- Experience with MLOps frameworks and AI deployment architectures.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI solutions.
- Proven experience in solution selling, managing small to large AI deals, crafting proposals, business cases, and ROI models.
- Strong storytelling and executive presentation skills.
- Experience in client stakeholder management at the CXO or VP level.
- Business & Domain Skills:
- Understanding of industry‑specific AI use cases.
- Ability to align AI initiatives with business KPIs such as revenue, cost, and efficiency.
