We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take on the role of Lead Engineer within one of our project teams. This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of a high-profile engineering project, ensuring it meets time, cost, and quality requirements.

As the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, you will assess and address customer requests, plan for successful project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a passion for engineering and technology, who thrives in a stimulating project environment and is committed to delivering excellence across the design and development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all engineering activities for a large customer project, including design tasks, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Technical Lead Engineer and cross-functional teams to assess and deliver engineering outputs.
  • Act as the point of contact for customers, addressing engineering-related queries and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery of the project engineering solution, ensuring it meets time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with significant experience in a similar role.
