Mechanical Engineer with excellent first principles of engineering to join a global company. With a good understanding of basic engineering design you will have a minimum 2 yrs commercial experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for rapid career development within a small but friendly R&D team. Less politics and more innovation!
Your typical duties will include:
- Mechanical design engineering of core new products
- Design (stress, thermal, GDT)
- Documentation of test, reports and other procedures
- Qualification (verification, validation, testing)
- Management of project work
- Chasing suppliers, costs
- Compliance
Looking for evidence of good sound practical project skills and an appreciation of materials engineering. With a Mechanical or other relevant engineering degree (2:1 minimum) you will have basic CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) / AutoCAD experience and be willing to produce detailed design.
Offering on-the-job training you can expect quick promotion and funded extracurricular studies. This is a very open, youthful & dynamic environment and would suit someone with a bit of spark. Expect to get involved and be challenged. SC restricted level of clearance required so British Citizen or permanent resident only.
Offering good remuneration, pension, bonus and 37.5hrs a week.
