Senior electronics/hardware engineer to join a 40 person company moving from stealth to Series A in the next 6 months. Producing groundbreaking tech, the Senior Electronics Engineer will get to work on multiple exciting projects in consumer products. This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced electronics engineer who has taken physical products from idea to prototype to factory and production & manufacturing. The Senior Electronics Engineer will be proven in producing high end products for a company, their own business or hobby. But must demonstrate business savvy when it comes to driving a product. This is a hands-on role but the Senior electronics / hardware engineer will work within a team of ~10. The company operate a flat structure so no line management – but guiding the team on projects is critical, so solid communication skills imperative. Key responsibilities: * Lead electronics/hardware development across multiple products * Own hardware architecture, prototyping, validation and production * Work closely with embedded, mechanical and product engineering teams * Work with manufacturers and suppliers to take products into production * Provide technical leadership and help manage engineering projects Requirements: particularly interested in: * Electronics architecture & system design * Analogue & digital electronics * PCB design & bring-up * Sensors & sensor integration * Embedded hardware / microcontrollers * Hardware/firmware integration * Hardware testing & debugging * Design for manufacture (DFM) * Product validation & reliability * Quality control * Manufacturing / production ramp-up * Degree from top University (Oxford / Cambridge / UCL or similar) highly advantageous. A background in any of the following is advantageous but not essential: Wearables | Medical Devices | Consumer Electronics | Automotive | Defence | Aerospace | Payments | IoT | Industrial Hardware.
