Job Description

Electronics Engineer to join a high-octane team reinventing the timelines of hardware development. Led by a founder with a half-billion-dollar exit in the medical device space and supported by world-class product designers, this company is bridging the gap between high-performance sportswear and medical-grade clinical devices.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nReporting directly to the VP of Engineering, the successful candidate will sit in the sweet spot between R&D and Production. This is a "hands-on" role where you will turn ambitious dreams into physical reality.

You will be responsible for prototyping, refining existing firmware, and bringing up new hardware designs for the next generation of soft robotic products.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Hardware Design & Bring-up: Designing, soldering, and testing PCBs; moving from "off-the-shelf" component prototyping to custom, high-volume production boards.\\n\\n * Embedded Software Development: Writing and debugging firmware for ARM Cortex microcontrollers to handle complex sensor data and pneumatic control systems.\\n\\n * System Interfacing: Managing communication buses (I2C, SPI, etc.) to integrate accelerometers, pressure sensors, and Bluetooth modules.\\n\\n * Data Integration: Pulling together diverse data streams from wearables and medical surfaces for clinical-grade analysis.\\n\\nTechnical Requirements\\n\\nThe ideal candidate is an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a "get-it-done" attitude.\\n\\n * Essential Experience:\\n\\n * 2+ years of commercial experience (Post-University).\\n\\n * Strong Embedded C programming skills.\\n\\n * Direct experience with ARM Cortex architecture.\\n\\n * Proven ability in PCB Design and layout.\\n\\n * Hands-on lab skills: Soldering, debugging, and using oscilloscopes/logic analyzers.\\n\\n * Familiarity with low-power wireless protocols\\n\\n * Additional Skills (Highly Desirable):\\n\\n * Sensors & Signal Processing: Experience with IMUs (accelerometers/gyroscopes) and pressure sensing.\\n\\n * Pneumatic/Actuator Control: Knowledge of controlling small-scale pumps, valves, or soft-robotic actuators.\\n\\n * Power Management: Designing for battery-powered wearable devices.\\n\\n * Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with ISO 13485 or IEC 60601 (Medical Device standards) is a plus, though not essential.\\n\\n * Python/Scripting: For automated testing and data visualization.\\n\\nWhy Join?\\n\\n * High Impact: Work on a product line with projected volumes moving from 50k to 5 million units within three years.\\n\\n * World-Class Mentorship: Work alongside a team that includes some of the most successful names in consumer electronics and medical surgery.\\n\\n * The Vibe: A buzzing and social office in a dedicated workspace (Hybrid, 2-3 days in-office)\\n\\n * Equity: Competitive salary plus stock options in a company with massive aspirations and proven leadership.\\n\\nReply today for a discrete conversation & more company details
