Commercially savvy SolidWorks CAD mechanical engineer to join this exciting company in producing quality SolidWorks drawings for new products and innovations. Now pulling a higher market share than their competitors, this company requires an experienced SolidWorks mechanical engineer to help with workflow.
Minimum 2 years commercial SolidWorks required.
With a background in production engineering and/or manufacturing engineering your typical tasks will include:
- Producing top quality SolidWorks drawings for manufacturing
- Inspection of parts for quality control
- Communicate with machinists and shop floor through your SolidWorks designs
- Design for manufacturing
- Calculations & formulas – understand how to put theory into practice
- Talk through problems with team on a commercially savvy level
