Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Data Lineage Solution Architect to define and implement end-to-end lineage
capabilities across an Enterprise Data Marketplace. The role will provide technical leadership for lineage
architecture, automated lineage capture and integration with metadata, governance, controls, GDW
transition and AI-enabled data consumption.
Key Responsibilities
Define the target architecture and implementation roadmap for cloud data lineage.
Establish lineage standards, patterns and controls across data products, pipelines and platforms.
Design automated end-to-end lineage capture across source, transformation, storage and consumption
layers.
Integrate lineage capabilities with metadata management, cataloguing, governance and control
frameworks.
Support traceability and impact analysis for GDW transition and marketplace onboarding.
Assess lineage tooling and guide configuration, integration and adoption across Azure or GCP
environments.
Provide architecture assurance and resolve complex lineage design or implementation issues.
Partner with data engineering, DataOps, governance, risk and product teams to improve auditability and
trusted consumption.
Required Skills and Experience:
Significant experience as a Data or Solution Architect in enterprise data environments.
Deep expertise in data lineage concepts, tooling and implementation patterns.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure and/or GCP data platforms.
Demonstrable data modelling experience and understanding of modern data-product architectures.
Experience integrating lineage with metadata, catalogues, governance and data-control frameworks.
Experience designing for enterprise scale, automation, resilience and security.
Strong stakeholder engagement, technical leadership and architecture-governance skills.
Desirable Experience
Experience with Microsoft Purview, Dataplex, Collibra, Alation or equivalent tooling.
Understanding of knowledge graphs, semantic models or metadata-driven AI consumption.
Experience supporting cloud migration or enterprise data warehouse transition programmes.
Financial services or similarly regulated enterprise experience.

Role 2: DevOps Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a DataOps Engineer to improve the scalability, reliability and operational automation of an
Enterprise Data Marketplace. The role will embed DataOps and DevOps practices across cloud-based data
products, with a strong focus on process re-engineering, delivery automation, controls and sustainable
operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement DataOps operating practices for cloud data products and marketplace services.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform code, configuration and deployments.
Automate operational processes including testing, validation, metadata ingestion, monitoring and
recovery.
Embed Infrastructure as Code and repeatable environment-management practices.
Improve observability, alerting, runbooks, platform resilience and operational supportability.
Integrate automated controls and evidence into the data delivery lifecycle.
Re-engineer business and operational processes to remove manual activity and improve flow.
Support GDW transition by ensuring new and migrated data products are production-ready and
sustainably operated.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud environments.
Hands-on experience implementing DataOps or DevOps practices for enterprise data platforms.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, source control, release automation and environment management.
Scripting and automation experience using relevant engineering languages and toolchains.
Experience with data pipelines, cloud data products, testing and operational monitoring.
Understanding of data modelling, metadata, lineage, governance and control requirements.
Ability to work across engineering, architecture, operations and governance stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep or equivalent.
Experience with containerisation, Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment patterns.

Role 3: MetaData Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking two Metadata Engineers to support the enhancement, scaling and automation of an
Enterprise Data Marketplace. The role combines hands-on data engineering, metadata management and data
modelling to enable data discoverability, governance, GDW transition and AI-enabled consumption across
Azure or GCP data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement metadata management capabilities across cloud-based data platforms and data
products.
Define and maintain business, technical and operational metadata models, including metadata transition
states.
Produce and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Support the onboarding and transition of GDW data assets into the Enterprise Data Marketplace.
Automate metadata capture, validation, enrichment and integration processes.
Integrate metadata with lineage, governance and enterprise data control frameworks.
Work with architecture, engineering, governance and product teams to improve data discoverability and
reuse.
Enable reliable AI-led data consumption through well-governed, accessible and high-quality metadata.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Demonstrable experience in enterprise metadata management and cloud data platforms.
Strong data modelling experience across conceptual, logical and physical models.

Knowledge of metadata lifecycle management, transition states, governance and data controls.
