Serious Injury Paralegal Role in Manchester
Location: Manchester
Working: Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours / Mon–Fri

Join our Manchester team
We’re looking for a talented and experienced personal injury paralegal to join our team of highly experienced lawyers in our Manchester office.
You’ll assist on a wide variety of high-value and complex cases, including catastrophic and fatal injury cases alongside a Partner, while gaining valuable experience in a well-established, long-standing firm.
What you’ll do
You’ll assist a Partner on catastrophic and fatal personal injury cases.
Casework
- Draft letters of claim and letters of instruction
- Draft court documents and other documents, such as witness statements (covering liability and quantum) and schedules of loss
- Review medical records and draft chronologies
- Carry out research using internal resources
- Liaise with counsel and medical experts
Clients
- Keep clients updated clearly and with empathy
- Make sure clients’ rehabilitation and financial needs are considered and met on an ongoing basis
Case management
- Work to court deadlines
- Manage the diary
- Assist with file organisation
- Use our in-house case management system
- Maintain awareness of the Civil Procedure Rules and how they apply to the multi-track process
What you’ll bring
You’ll need:
- Previous experience of working in a personal injury department
- Experience in an office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Proven ability to work to deadlines
