Based in our purpose-built office in rural Leicestershire with countryside views, you will be part of a growing, sociable team with plenty of events and celebrations (we are rarely short of a few snacks in the office!). Job Purpose:
To support business development function with specific focus on gathering insurance expiry dates through telemarketing. Generate leads either by cold calling or answering requests in a timely manner. Identifying reliable prospects through lead generation and data gathering. To work within the compliance and quality assurance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reach out to potential agencies/umbrella companies to gather insurance expiry dates using existing systems and data lists.
- Undertake tele-appointing and prospecting activities on behalf of Business Development Team
- With support of Business Development Team, begin to build relationships with partner organisations to help maximise business achieved.
- Complying with FCA rules and any other relevant regulatory requirements
- Accurately and efficiently enters customer information into company databases
- Assist Business Development colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers
- Collaborating with colleagues to determine the most viable approach to new business opportunities
- Versatility to discuss all potential business opportunities that may arise
- High level presentation of Qdos product/service information
- Meet weekly/monthly call targets
- In conjunction with business development team, contribute to the development and refinement of telemarketing strategies Provide reliable feedback of findings to support growth of business intelligence
Performance Objectives:
- Successfully meet daily call targets
- Able to demonstrate a successful conversion of cold leads
- Accurately collecting and processing client information with minimal guidance and supervision
- Proven ability to work within established Qdos QA and compliance framework
Skills and Experience Specification:
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Proactive and personable approach to commercial relationships
- Ability to organise and maintain data records accurately in line with business requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Attention to detail and data inputting accuracy
- Has previous experience working in a similar role or transferrable skills
