HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a skilled and motivated Solicitor or Conveyancer to join our vibrant Property team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about property law and looking to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of property transactions, from initial client engagement to completion.
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of property matters, including residential and commercial conveyancing.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documents with a keen eye for detail.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Assist in face-to-face client meetings and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of developments in property law and market trends to provide informed advice.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor or Conveyancer with relevant experience in property law.
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property legislation including transfer of equity.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions.
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Membership with the Law Society or other professional bodies is desirable.
