HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented New Business Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be integral to supporting our business development initiatives and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their administrative and client‑management skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of new business proposals and client onboarding documentation
- Coordinating communication with potential clients and internal teams to facilitate a seamless intake process
- Managing and updating client databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations
- Conducting research on potential clients and market opportunities
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports
- Maintaining a positive relationship with clients throughout their onboarding experience
- Monitoring progress and following up with clients during the onboarding phase
- Assisting with internal marketing efforts and initiatives as required
- Taking enquiries for our Education Law Teams and the services they provide
- Reporting into the Business Development Manager
Requirements
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and client service
- Previous experience in business development or a sales role is advantageous but not essential
