An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised Legal Assistant in our friendly, well established and approachable Employment Law Team based at our Redditch Office.
Responsibilities include:
- Generally assisting the team (for example; with any court bundles, documentation and dictations).
- Opening and closing files.
- Organising files on ALB.
- Taking initial details from clients and onboarding them onto ALB.
- Sending out client care letters and ID Checks.
- Handling overflow client telephone calls.
- Tracking the new enquiries.
- Tracking any upcoming hearings.
- Researching any local networking groups and organising attendance.
- Business development plan - researching the local area for networking.
- Organising and tracking of training topics.
- Reception cover.
- Preparing and taking the banking and post.
- Other duties as required to ensure the efficient running of the office.
Requirements for this role include:
- Preferably previous work experience as legal assistant/secretary.
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
- Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of case management software.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00 to 5:15 (Office Based role).
Attractive salary dependent on experience.
26 days holiday + BHs.
