About the role:

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑focused Housing Services Administrator to provide high‑quality administrative and operational support across our Housing Services team. Reporting to the Housing Services leadership team, this role is essential in enabling our Housing Officers and managers to deliver organised, effective and resident‑centred services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Housing Services Directorate, including document preparation, data collation, reporting and research.
  • Enter, maintain and retrieve information across tenancy and property management systems.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics and itinerary management.
  • Deliver professional administrative support including correspondence, document formatting and Excel‑based reporting.
  • Manage general administrative tasks such as bulk mailouts, filing, printing, organising materials and maintaining records.
  • Support compliance through accurate data management and use of established workflows, systems and governance processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes and team operations.
  • Provide clear, professional communication to internal stakeholders and participate in collaborative projects as required.

About you:

You will bring:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a customer‑focused, community, housing or related service environment.
  • Experience working with databases, CRMs or tenancy/property management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high‑quality documents, reports, correspondence and data‑driven outputs.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and high work volumes while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Well‑developed analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and solve problems.
  • Capacity to support continuous improvement, change and innovation within team processes.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism and sound judgement.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of issues affecting socially disadvantaged groups, including people experiencing housing stress, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to undertake all relevant screening and employment checks.

You must agree to undertake any required employment screening, which may include a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
