Role: Senior Paediatric Radiographer (Plain Film, CT and Interventional Radiology)
Location: The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, Central London
Contract Type: Temporary role to cover maternity leave until 30th November 2027
Hours: Full time hours 37.5hrs per week Monday-Friday
Shifts: Mix of shifts between 0800-2000 Monday-Friday, with contribution to on-calls and weekends on a rota basis (paid addition to your base salary)
Salary Range: Competitive dependent upon skills and experience, with fantastic benefits, including private healthcare.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paediatric Radiographer to join our Imaging team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated "good" by the CQC.
As a Senior Paediatric Radiographer, you'll join a specialist team delivering high-quality imaging services across General X-ray, CT, Fluoroscopy and Interventional Radiology. Working with both paediatric and adult patients, you'll utilise your technical expertise to produce exceptional diagnostic images while providing a safe, compassionate and patient-centred experience. You'll play an important role in supporting complex theatre and interventional procedures, working closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding clinical care.
As a senior member of the department, you'll contribute to maintaining high professional standards, supporting service development and driving continuous improvements to enhance patient outcomes. What you'll bring:
- HCPC Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography.
- Significant post-registration experience within Diagnostic Imaging.
- Demonstrable experience in General X-ray, Fluoroscopy and Theatre Imaging.
- Sound understanding of radiation protection legislation and best practice.
